Northbound Rosewood Drive, between Riverstone Drive and Sulphur Springs Drive, will experience intermittent lane closures beginning tomorrow. Work is expected to take place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through July 17.
Crews will be removing topsoil along the east side of Rosewood Drive and will need use of the roadway to complete work.
Motorists should exercise caution while in the area, observe signage and plan alternate routes if possible.
This work is part of the Rosewood Extension Project, which will create five vehicle lanes and connect south to Chaparral Road. Heritage Oaks Hike and Bike Trail is included in the project and will be constructed along Trimmier Creek from Rosewood Drive to Platinum Drive. Substantial project completion is scheduled for summer 2020.
The City of Killeen apologizes for any inconvenience as a result of this work and appreciates your cooperation as we construct this roadway and hike and bike trail.
