Below is a timeline of the development of the proposed Preserve at Thousand Oaks planning unit development. This is proposed to be constructed in six, total phases. The timeline is at the discretion of the developer and is subject to change, based on the market/interest rates.

If the zoning request gets approved by Council on August 9, 2022, the next steps would be as follows:

  1. Applicant submits a Preliminary Plat of the entire development (reviewed by staff, approved by P&Z)
  2. Applicant submits a Traffic Impact Analysis (reviewed and approved administratively)
  3. Applicant prepares and submits construction plans for each phase (reviewed and approved administratively)
  4. Developer constructs the infrastructure for the approved phase
  5. Applicant submits a Final Plat for each phase (reviewed by staff, approved by P&Z)
  6. Building permits for homes in each completed phase can be issued.
