Southbound lane of Second Street to be closed starting Wednesday, May 3

KILLEEN, Texas (May 2, 2023) – The southbound lane of North 2nd Street from Rancier Avenue to Young Avenue will be closed to through traffic starting Wednesday, May 3 through Friday, May 5, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, weather permitting.

The closure is so a contractor can install water services.

The contractor will have a traffic control plan in place and detour traffic around the work area. Motorists should anticipate delays and are asked to use caution and obey traffic control devices.
