KILLEEN, Texas (Aug. 4, 2022) – The City of Killeen’s Municipal Court had a swearing in ceremony this morning for new Court Administrator, Jaime Brew.
June. City Councilmembers were presented with the recommended selection during the June 1 council meeting.
Brew has a Bachelor’s of ex Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University, as well as a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
Brew also has 14 years of Municipal Court experience, including her time in Killeen from 2007-2013 as a Compliance/Collections Manager and Clerk of Court/Municipal Court Administrator. She has also worked for the Municipal Courts in Sugarland, Coppell and Harris County.
“We’re looking forward to working with you,” Presiding Municipal Court Judge, Kris Krishna, said during Brew’s swearing in. “All I can say is, thank you for coming back.” Krishna began his position in April of this year.
Some of the duties of the Court Administrator include serving as the Clerk of the Court, overseeing court programs and services, ensuring compliance with procedures, policies and regulations; budgeting and responding to public inquiries and record maintenance; supervising and directing all non-judicial operations and functions of the division, etc.
