KILLEEN, Texas (March 31, 2023) – The City of Killeen has secured national market research firm, ETC Institute, to conduct a comprehensive citizen survey, which is designed to gather resident feedback on City services.
The City Council made the survey a priority to help assess input from community members as they make decisions on services including public safety, economic development and streets, as well as code enforcement and recreation services.
The survey will help shape many of the decision that will be made about the City’s future and is a chance to ensure Killeen’s priorities are aligned with the needs of residents. The responses are an investment that will allow leadership to identify and address many of the opportunities and challenges facing the community.
The firm has sent surveys to citizens based on 2021 Census data and demographics. Both randomized and non-random selections are included, based on sample size. The second part of the survey will be live from Apr. 17 – May 1 and there are about 40 questions. Responses will remain confidential.
The last comprehensive citizens survey on record for the City of Killeen was conducted in 2009. The City of Killeen will present results of the 2023 survey to the public once the survey assessment report is complete and available.
