KILLEEN, Texas (June 26, 2023) – The Killeen Public Library Summer Reading Club is underway and has been a hit with professional children’s entertainers each Thursday.
Last Thursday, magician John O’Bryant kept children, and adults as well, laughing and amazed with his comedy magic show.
But the fun is just beginning with one more performer in June and a big lineup of guests set to take the stage in July. The performances will be held at the Killeen Arts & Activity Center (801 North 4th Street) in the Performing Arts Auditorium from 10a.m. - 11a.m.
The scheduled performers are:
- June 29: Paleontologist BK Bones
- July 6: Daniel Benes’ Science Show
- July 13: Elizabeth Kahura, African Tales
- July 20: A Pair of Pirates Music Group
- July 27: Austin Reptile Service Show
Both our Main Library (205 East Church Avenue) and the Copper Mountain branch library (300 South W.S. Young Drive) have planned activities for all ages almost every day of the week that don’t just involve exploring a new world through books. They have movies, coloring, crafts, yoga, makerspace, games, LEGO building and much more.
