2. The City of Killeen Parks and Recreation events provide the community with a variety of opportunities to become engaged with family, friends, and neighbors. These community events focus on providing entertainment, education, and to showcase the City of Killeen. Vendors are a valuable part of these events.

   A completed application and appropriate licenses must be submitted and approved by staff before applicant is eligible to participate and/or sell at any event. Applications can take up to 10 business days to be approved. An approval e-mail will be sent upon acceptance. After approval, vendor has 5 business days to submit vendor fee payment.

    1. Specialty ($100) Business that charges a fee for services offered at an event. Ie. face painting, professional photography, etc.
    2. Craft ($25) Arts and crafts vendor whose product is made by the owner or employees associated with the business. No resale items.
    3. Value Added Non-profit (FREE) Local non-profit organization that offers a value-added activity/program to the event. Vendor may advertise information in regard to non-profit but cannot exchange money.
    4. Food vendor/Food truck ($50) Food based vendor that provides hot and ready to eat foods, cottage foods, or temperature-controlled foods inside a facility or out of a mobile food vending area such as a food truck
    5. Commercial Business ($100) Commercial or homebased business that wishes to collect payment for memberships, advertise business services or sell product. Examples include but not limited to direct sales business, membership-based business (ie. Sam’s Club, fitness business, etc.), selling of resale items such as light up toys

    ACKNOWLEDGEMENT 

    By checking the “I agree” box below you acknowledge that you are applying to become a vendor at the City of Killeen events and agree to the rules and regulations created and enforced by the City of Killeen. Vendor and agents acknowledge that they are required to abide by all state and local guidelines including food safety requirements and licenses. If you are required to obtain a food permit, sales & tax certificate or mobile vending license, it is your responsibility to provide a copy of such permit to the staff and have it available for possible inspections. Vendors and agents acknowledge that laws, regulations, and rules put forth by the federal, state, city, or county government must be followed. Vendors and agents understand that selling products not pre-approved by City of Killeen Parks & Recreation Department may result in dismissal.  Vendors and agents understand that staff and/or authorized Vendor Representative designee may perform site inspections. Vendor and agents release the City of Killeen from all injury, liability, loss, or damages that may occur to property or self, while on the premises. Vendor and agents hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Killeen for any action or liability which may arise from this event. Vendor and agents understand that upon approval they will be present for all events for which they have signed up. Failure to provide proper notice of cancelation, arriving late, or leaving early for the event could result in dismissal and inability to participate in failure City of Killeen events. 

    PHOTO & VIDEO WAIVER

    By checking the “I agree” box below you grant the City of Killeen permission to use your likeness in a photograph or video in all of its publications, including web site entries without payment or any other consideration. You understand and agree that any photographs or videos taken will become the property of City of Killeen and will not be returned. You hereby irrevocably authorize the market to copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute these photos and videos for the purpose of publicizing the City of Killeen or any other lawful purpose. Additionally, you waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of either photos or videos.

    By checking the "I agree" box below, you agree and acknowledge that 1) your application will not be signed in the sense of a traditional paper document, 2) by signing in this alternate manner, you authorize your electronic signature to be valid and binding upon you to the same force and effect as a handwritten signature, and 3) you may still be required to provide a traditional signature at a later date.
