KILLEEN, Texas (Nov. 4, 2025) – The Killeen Municipal Court announces the return of Warrant Forgiveness Month, which will run from December 1 to December 31. This initiative aims to assist residents in clearing outstanding warrants before the new year.
Introduced by Judge Kris Krishna as part of the Safe Harbor program in 2022, this year’s event is particularly significant, as no program was held last year. Since its inception, the program has successfully resolved over 100 cases, terminated 255 warrants, and collected more than $138,471 through city citations.
“Warrant Forgiveness Month embodies the Killeen Municipal Court’s dedication to justice and the belief in second chances,” said Judge Kris Krishna. “We encourage anyone with outstanding warrants in the city to take advantage of this opportunity for a fresh start in the new year.”
No appointments are necessary; residents can walk into the Killeen Municipal Court, located at 200 E. Avenue D, Suite 1, Monday through Thursday from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Options for payment plans, community service, or hardship waivers may be available for those who qualify.
