The City of Killeen will have two road closures over the next, two days.
First, Hunt Drive from Chase Circle to Mountain View Drive, will be closed to through traffic on Tuesday, Oct. 12 and 13 from 7a.m. - 5p.m., weather permitting. All lanes will reopen after work hours.
Secondly, Schwertner Drive, from Wood Hollow Drive to Whitmire Drive, will also be closed to through traffic on Oct. 12 and 13 from 7a.m. to 5p.m., weather permitting. All lanes will be reopened after work hours.
A natural gas main is being installed in the area and personnel and equipment must enter the roadway to complete the work. All traffic will be detoured around the work site during work hours. Motorists should anticipate delays and are asked to use caution and obey traffic control devices.
