The City of Killeen’s Department of Public Works’ Engineering Division will be closing Hunt Drive from Chase Circle to Mountain View Drive, and Schwertner Drive from Wood Hollow Drive to Whitmire Drive beginning Monday, Nov. 8 through Wednesday, Nov. 10. The closure will be from 7a.m. – 5p.m., weather permitting. Roads will be open to local traffic only.
A natural gas line is being installed in the area and personnel and equipment must enter the roadway to complete the work.
There will be a series of traffic control devices in place to guide motor vehicles around the work zone and closure. Motorists are asked to use caution and obey the traffic control devices.
