KILLEEN, Texas (March 14, 2022) – The City of Killeen Library will hold a free Game Day Tuesday (March 15) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center, 3601 S. WS Young Drive.
The event, which is open to anyone, is a perfect opportunity for families and individuals who may be affected by Tuesday’s planned power outage on Fort Hood to spend the day in a fun, family-friendly environment. Fort Hood announced it would be without power most of the day due to a planned DoD-mandated Energy Resilience Readiness Exercise.
The free Game Day event is open to everyone of all ages, regardless of where they live, and is a great opportunity to bond with friends and family, or make new friends and learn new games. The library staff will provide board games, dominoes and cards, but visitors are welcome to bring their own games.
