KILLEEN, Texas (Jan. 17, 2023) – The City of Killeen is pleased to announce the Family Recreation Center has reopened this week and is open for new memberships for 2023.
The Recreation Center offers a variety of fitness options, including free weights, exercise machines, basketball courts, pickleball, a walking track and more to help citizens keep a “New Year, New You” in 2023.
The center closed for maintenance last week to bring citizens an even better experience. Updates include a resurfaced gym floor, a deadlift platform added to the weight room, painted several rooms, cleaned 200+ pieces of equipment, deep-cleaned the entire facility, completed annual maintenance and repairs of basketball hoops, anchoring systems, and all gym equipment, clear-coated daycare and aerobics rooms, and cleaned windows within the facility.

MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS
