KILLEEN, Texas (April 5, 2024) – The City of Killeen will be closing East Avenue D in the Historic Downtown District from 4th Street to Gray Street on Friday, April 5 from 6 a.m. through 10p.m.
The closure is for an event that will celebrate the total solar eclipse.
There will be a series of traffic control devices in place to guide motor vehicles around the area and closure. Motorists are encouraged to use caution, obey traffic control devices, and consider an alternate route, if needed.
