Operations adjusted to comply with current state and federal orders and strengthened health precautions.
Stonetree Golf Club will reopen for play Friday, and golfers should anticipate operational changes designed to provide safer play amid the COVID-19 situation. The course has been closed since March 24.
In accordance with Bell County and City of Killeen directives, the pro shop will remain closed until further notice. Patrons can purchase rounds of golf and other services from a temporary station with social distancing measures in place. Only credit cards will be accepted.
Golf cart use, public and private, will be limited to single occupants only. Public carts will be sanitized after each use.
Golfers will find the following changes to the course itself:
- PVC pipe in cup
- No bunker rakes
- No ball/club washers
- Course restrooms and water stations closed
Food and draft beverage service will not be offered, but bottled beverages will be available for purchase.
Additional staff precautions have been implemented including use of personal protective equipment and social distancing practices.
All revised operations and the suspension of tournaments will remain in place until COVID-19 directives are removed.
