Back by popular demand, two new episodes will premier next week.
Killeen Public Library has not let its temporary closure stop it from reaching thousands of local children. Digital delivery of its story time programs has been extremely popular, so two new episodes will premier Monday and Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Facebook.com/CityofKilleen.
Miss Amy will host Monday’s episode, and Miss Daisha will host Wednesday’s. Both will feature their friends at Copper Mountain Branch Library to bring the learning, the creativity and the fun. Each episode has two stories, a sing along, a dance activity and a craft to do at home.
Story time programming is aimed at children ages 2 to 7, but it is appropriate and enjoyable for all ages.
Though both libraries remain closed, there is a tremendous amount of material available online. Library members can access the online items including e-books, e-audios, reference materials, genealogy websites, food resources and more. Temporary memberships are free and available at Portal.KilleenTexas.gov.
