Stakeholder input important to future airport development.
Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport is soliciting input in the development of a master plan. The public is invited to participate in the following meetings:
January 17 6-8 p.m. Killeen Utility Collections Conference Room, 210 W. Avenue C
January 18 6-8 p.m. Harker Heights Activities Center, Room C, 400 Indian Trail
Copperas Cove Council Chambers, 508 S. 2nd Street
When complete, the airport master plan will provide a guide for airport development over the next 20 years. It will detail short-, mid- and long-range goals and financial plans to achieve them.
Public participation is essential to plan development. The airport is a regional asset, so it is important that input be received from residents in Killeen and surrounding cities to create a sustainable and attainable plan for its future.
