The Rosewood Drive extension project began in the Spring of 2018 with an anticipated Summer 2020 completion. The extension creates five vehicle lanes from Morganite Lane to Chaparral Road completing the north-south thoroughfare.
When complete, Heritage Oaks Hike and Bike Trail will run about 3.5 miles along the southern end of Rosewood Drive and follow Pyrite Drive and Trimmier Creek. It is part of a regional trail system that connects to Purser Family Park in Harker Heights.
