Facilities

The Family Recreation Center at Lions Club Park is located at, 1700 E. Stan Schlueter Loop. is open Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12pm-6pm. In addition to the center, the park features a hike and bike trail, playgrounds and outdoor fitness amenities. More information is available at KilleenTexas.gov/Rec.

• Patrons must use the disinfectant wipes provided throughout the facility to sanitize equipment before and after use
• Basketball courts: Basketball courts will be open for pickleball play, basketball, volleyball and self-directed fitness routines to include but not limited to running, walking, or sprints. 
• Fitness classes: Patrons may attend fitness classes. The maximum occupancy is 35. 

MEMBERSHIP FEES 
All membership fees are due at the time of registration. Members have the option to sign up for auto-renew or pay at the time of expiration. Members are given a seven day grace period to renew their membership, if not enrolled in auto-renew. If members do not renew within seven days they will not be allowed access to the facility.

SILVERSNEAKERS

The Lions Club Park Senior Center and Family Recreation Center is excited to announce that on February 1, 2021 we will become a SilverSneakers fitness location partner.  If your insurance plan provides SilverSneakers as a benefit, you are entitled to a complimentary membership at our facilities.  SilverSneakers is the nation’s leading exercise program designed exclusively for adults 65+.  Included as a benefit with Medicare health plans nationwide, SilverSneakers helps seniors improve their health and stay independent.  Eligible health plan members need only show their SilverSneakers member ID number or card to access participating locations.  

What are the SilverSneakers eligibility requirements?

In order to be eligible for the SilverSneakers Fitness program, you must be:

• 65 or older, or eligible for Medicare because of a disability
• Living in the U.S.
• Enrolled in a private Medicare plan that offers the SilverSneakers benefit

To be eligible for SilverSneakers, you must join a participating Medicare Advantage plan or a Medicare Supplement Insurance plan.
