KILLEEN, Texas (January 6, 2026) – The southbound lane of Old FM 440 from West Central Texas Expressway to Wheeler Avenue will be closed from Wednesday, Jan. 7 to Friday, Jan. 9 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, weather permitting.
The closure is for an Atmos Energy contractor performing work in the area.
The contractor will have a traffic control plan in place and guide traffic around the work area. Motorists should anticipate delays and are asked to use caution and obey traffic control devices.
