Kent Cagle joined the City of Killeen as City Manager December 3, 2019 following his unanimous appointment by the City Council.
Cagle has 20 years of city management experience in a 35-year local government career. He previously served the cities of Lubbock, Plano, Carrollton, Duncanville and Leander and was President of the North Texas City Management Association.
A native Texan, Cagle attended Texas Tech University where he earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration. He is also a proud graduate of Sonora High School.
Beyond his city management responsibilities, Cagle has taken active community roles to include Lions Club, Rotary Club, chambers of commerce and the North Texas Tollway Authority.
Cagle has three children, son Cason, 21, and twin daughters Alexandra and Annabella, 18, who have kept him busy with baseball, soccer, golf, cheerleading and gymnastics. His hobbies include supporting the Texas Tech Red Raiders, upland bird hunting and golf.
