KILLEEN, Texas (Feb. 18, 2026) – The Killeen Public Library is excited to announce two free, family-friendly events during spring break, offering community members of all ages the opportunity to engage in fun, educational activities.
First, on Saturday, March 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Killeen Main Library will celebrate Super Mario Day with themed games, crafts, and activities inspired by one of the world's most famous video game characters. This event welcomes people of all ages to participate in the festivities.
The library will also host Magical Morning on Wednesday, March 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Killeen Civic & Conference Center (3601 South W. S. Young Drive). This special event coincides with Killeen ISD's Spring Break and features live performances by professional magicians Carlos Vasquez, Jesse Smith, James Spencer and Jeff Hapke.
The Magical Morning performance schedule includes:
10:00 - 10:45 a.m.: Jesse Smith
10:45 - 11:00 a.m.: James Spencer
11:00 - 11:45 a.m.: Jeff Hapke
11:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.: James Spencer
12:00 - 12:45 p.m.: Carlos Vasquez
12:45 - 1:00 p.m.: James Spencer
Magical Morning is designed to encourage creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning through interactive entertainment. The event is perfect for families looking for engaging spring break activities.
