Motown Downtown Music Festival returns for its fifth year

Featuring live Motown sounds, retro style, and classic cars on Feb. 28

KILLEEN, Texas (Jan. 12, 2026) – The City of Killeen will host its annual Motown Downtown Music Festival on Saturday, Feb. 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the heart of Historic Downtown Killeen at Avenue C and Gray.

Now in its fifth year, the free event offers an evening of music, nostalgia, and family-friendly fun.

Motown Downtown will feature live entertainment inspired by the iconic Motown era, a classic car showcase hosted by the Mid Texas Corvette Club, and a best-dressed competition highlighting retro-inspired fashion. Attendees can also enjoy a variety of food trucks, vendors, and activities for all ages.

The City of Killeen invites classic car enthusiasts and local vendors to participate in the event. Applications to showcase a classic car or become a vendor are available at www.killeentexas.gov/downtownevents and must be submitted by Feb. 1.
